EQUIPPING PEOPLE THROUGH
GROUPS
Whether it's a Bible Study, an informal gathering of friends, or coming together to share a love for a certain activity, groups play an important role in equipping us for discipleship.
Through groups, you are better equipped to feel both a sense of belonging and offer others effective care and support.
Here at 1st Church there are many ways you can equip your faith by learning and growing your faith in smaller groups.

SMALL GROUP
BIBLE AND BOOK STUDIES
Whether it's a weeknight Bible or Book Study, or a seasonal study for the Lenten or Advent Season you can find small groups that EQUIP you for discipleship by diving further into your faith.
Please check out the group meeting calendar below to see the study groups that are currently meeting.

MEN'S BIBLE STUDY
For many years now, men have been gathering early in the morning one day a week here at 1st Church for Bible Study.
Led by Owen Ragland, this Men's Bible Study group typically follows a video-based and discussion-led format to explore the Bible and grow in the understanding of faith and practice.
The group is usually made up of 10 to 15 men in the age range from 40 to 90; younger and older men are welcome to be a part of this weekly Bible study.
The Men's Bible Study group recently sponsored a Medic Blood Drive here at the church and hope to sponsor similar events in the future.
