YOUTH & STUDENTS
1st Youth strives to create a safe, welcoming and fun space for students to grow closer to Christ and to each other.
Whether it's Sunday School or a trip out to the Lake at the end of summer, it is great to see when students come together as part of their journey in faith.
We welcome ALL students in grades 6 through 12 to be a part of 1st Youth Ministries where they can grow in faith and connect with others.

WHERE YOUTH CONNECT
ONGOING ACTIVITIES
Rise and Shine happens on Tuesdays from 7:30 to 8:00 am. This is a time of devotion and prayer and is a great way to begin a school day. And there's free breakfast too! Rise and Shine meets in Wesley Hall (on the upper level) each Tuesday when school is in session.
Youth Music programs (choir & handbells) meet each Wednesday night at 6:00 pm in rooms 249 and 252.
Wednesday Night Bible Study happens each Wednesday as part of the Wednesdays at 1st programming. The study begins at 6:50 pm in room 151.
Sunday Youth Fellowship happens each Sunday evening from 5:30 to 7:00 pm (starting August 9th) in Asbury Hall on the lower level then moving to Wesley Hall on the upper level the following weeks. During this time, youth learn, play games and gather in small groups.

Throughout the Summer of 2026, 1st Youth have been taking time to have a little fun and to Go.Do. in service to the community. Take a look at what they've been up to.
One of the biggest youth events happens in January each year over in Pigeon Forge. Resurrection is a weekend worship centered event that draws thousands of youth from the region and is a ministry of the Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church.
In July 2025, several of our youth took a trip out to the new Covenant Health Stadium in Knoxville to watch the Smokies play baseball. Check out the pictures in our gallery.
