TRANSFORMING LIVES - ENDING HOMELESSNESS

Family Promise of Blount County is a part of a nationwide organization envisioning a future where every family has a home and the ability to sustain it and create a brighter future. This is a multi-layered program aimed at helping homeless families get back on their feet. 

Recently, the Family Promise offices in Blount County moved into the 1st UMC @ Sycamore Tree building, a mission hub that is part of 1st UMC - Maryville. In the future, the facility will be used for emergency housing as part of the program. Volunteers are always welcome as Family Promise continues hosting families in a variety of places.

You don't have to wait until a Host Week to Go.Do. and serve at Family Promise. There are more than 20 roles where volunteers are needed to keep Family Promise going. None of these require a lot of your time, but the time you do lend is invaluable in helping Family Promise fulfill its mission to shelter families in crisis and to help them find a home.
