1st Kids Christmas Celebration
12/6/2026 4:00 PM
From a children's Christmas Musical to free pizza and Christmas crafting, the 1st Kids Christmas Celebration helps people of ALL ages find the true reasons for the season.
At 4:00 pm ( in the Sanctuary on the Upper Level) the 1st Kids Choir presents "Silent Night: The Birth of a Carol." Set high in the Austrian Alps on Christmas Eve 1818, we find Franz Gruber, the organist of St. Nicholas Church. Because of a breakdown of the organ, Franz was forced to prepare a different Christmas Eve service from the one that had been planned. The carol, "Silent Night," was the result. Come hear the children raise their voices as they lead everyone in a wonderful time of worship.
At 5:00 pm the fun moves down to Asbury hall (on the Lower Level). Grab a slice of pizza and some snacks then make the rounds at the annual Christmas Crafting event. Kids get a chance to create items they can give to others in the spirit of the season. It's a fun way to celebrate Christmas with the ones you love and meet new people.
Both events are FREE and you don't have to come to both. It's time to celebrate Christmas in Maryville in a creative and meaningful way so be sure and bring your family and friends too!
