Adult Book Study for Advent

During Christmas in Maryville, you'll likely see a lot of images of Jesus peacefully lying in the manger, whith Mary and Joseph and animals all gathered nearby.  And while that scene might be how we picture Christ's birth, it's probably more true to picture the scene with some tension and fear, too.

This Advent Season, you will get a chance to take a look at "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" parts of the Christmas story through the lens of author Richard B. Wilke.

Bernice Howard leads this four week study (on Mondays). You will need to buy the book in advance of the first session. It is available through a number of retailers.

If you have questions please contact Bernice directly or email communications@1stchurch.org .
